Rogue Architect
Rogue Architect is the scenario building tool in Rogue Arena. It provides a visual drag-and-drop canvas for designing network topologies, configuring virtual machines with Ansible plugins, and launching real infrastructure builds.
The Architect canvas mid-design — VLANs grouped by purpose (attacker infra, redirector, multi-site AD forest, secure vault), machines wired with plugins, and connections drawn between segments.
Don’t want to build by hand? Hand the controls to Claude. With the Rogue Arena MCP plugin loaded, Claude can drive Architect end-to-end — design VLANs, drop machines, wire plugins, and even write new plugins from scratch when an existing one doesn’t cover the case.
It can also stand up entire Active Directory topologies with realistic users (logged-in sessions, mailboxes, profile data), seeded files, scheduled tasks, browser history — anything a believable lab needs. You describe the lab; Claude builds it.
Three Workflows
Section titled “Three Workflows”Architect splits into three workflows. Each stands on its own, and together they compose into a published scenario — click a path to learn more:
Lab Creation
Design the lab on the canvas — VLANs, machines, plugins, AD forests. Build it for real, iterate, and templatize when it works.
Design a blueprint 02Curriculum Development
Attach teaching content to a blueprint — chapters, tasks, flag unlocks, CTF node graphs. Curriculum rides along with the blueprint when it deploys.
Write curriculum 03Plugin Development
Build the Ansible plugins that machines use to configure themselves — install software, create users, drop files, configure services. Reusable across every scenario.
